How can I book accommodation at apartments alterplatz ?

How much does it cost if I want to cancel my booking?
No fees will be charged for bookings cancelled within 24 hours of booking. After that, the guest will be charged an amount equal to the total price for cancellations at any time.
In case something should come up, we recommend taking out travel insurance. This is possible, for example, with the hotel cancellation insurance from Europäische Reiseversicherung.

When can I move into my apartment and how do I get the key?
Key handover is usually done in person between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on the day of arrival. Therefore, please let us know your approximate arrival time in advance. The apartments are ready for occupancy from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival, and departure is possible until 10 a.m. If you would like an earlier or later check-in or check-out, please feel free to inquire.
How do I get to the Old Square ?

Arriving by train : From Klagenfurt Central Station, it's 1,200 meters to Alter Platz (a 16-minute walk). There's also a taxi stand in front of the station.

Arriving by plane : Klagenfurt Airport is approximately 4 kilometers away. By taxi, the ride to Alter Platz takes about 5 to 10 minutes, depending on traffic.

Arriving by car : There are several affordable parking garages in the immediate vicinity of Apartments Alterplatz. Since Alter Platz is closed to traffic as a pedestrian zone only between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., you can easily drive up to the building before and after loading and unloading.

Klagenfurt is home to the comprehensive nextbike bike rental system. Bikes can be rented and returned 24/7. A one-time registration is required via the website or app. There are around a dozen rental locations in the Old Town alone. The Wörthersee Plus Card is free for our guests and offers free entry, discounts and activity programs in the Wörthersee-Rosental region all year round.
The Carinthia Card offers free entry to a large number of attractions throughout Carinthia for a one-time flat rate.
What can I buy at the Alter Platz?
In the immediate vicinity of the Alter Platz in Klagenfurt you will find everything you need.
In addition to restaurants, pharmacies and grocery stores, the pedestrian zone also houses fashion stores, perfumeries and drugstores.
For fresh pastries for breakfast, the nearest bakery is just 10 steps away. The nearest supermarket (Billa) is just 200 meters away.
The nearby City Arkaden Klagenfurt shopping center is 350 meters or a 4-minute walk away and also has an underground car park.
Which excursion destinations are nearby?
There are numerous sights to discover in and around Klagenfurt. In the center, for example, you'll find the Old Town Hall. It's just one of the many architecturally valuable buildings on Alter Platz, Austria's first pedestrian zone. Also nearby are the Coat of Arms Hall in the Landhaus, the Lindwurm Fountain on Neuer Platz, the City Theater, the Museum of Modern Art, the Diocesan Museum, the State Museum, and several churches.
The Kreuzbergl, with its botanical garden and forest hiking trails, is a popular local recreation area, about 1,400 meters or a 19-minute walk from the apartments alterplatz.
To the west of the city, you'll find the Minimundus miniature world and the Reptile Zoo. Not far away are Lake Wörthersee, with its lido and boat dock, as well as Europa-Park.
